CET8311 Piezo Traffic Sensor
The CET8311 Piezo Traffic Sensor is an advanced sensor leveraging the piezoelectric effect to generate electrical signals by detecting pressure changes from vehicles. It enables precise monitoring of axle count, vehicle speed, classification, and dynamic weighing. With features such as high sensitivity, durability, cost-effectiveness, and easy installation, it is widely used in highway and urban traffic management, providing critical data support for intelligent transportation systems.
The sensor uses the longitudinal piezoelectric effect of polymer materials to generate an electric charge when impacted. It converts the vehicle tire’s weight into proportional electrical signals, enabling the detection of wheel load, axle load, and total vehicle weight.
