Overview

The Enviko SK-SDM vibrating wire shear displacement meter, also called an interface displacement meter, measures boundary displacement of fill or structures, such as slip along the interface between soil and bedrock, soil and concrete, or soil and other media. It is suited to measuring shear offset and relative settlement between embankments, core walls, slope protection or fill and their foundation surfaces. A built-in temperature sensor records the temperature at the installation point, and a smart ID chip can be fitted on request.
